I just wish those geniuses at Samyang will put in 50 cent ROM chips into their excellent lenses so that we can get EXIF info, use "A" mode on newer Sony DSLRs and get AF focus confirmation!
I never could understand why they refuse to fully support the mounts they make these lenses for when the needed ROM chips are so cheap to implement and yet add so much value to their lenses. My Samyang 85mm f/1.4 is mostly unused because I cannot get focus at f/1.4 at more than MFD or in low light due to lack of focus confirmation.

I wish they would make them a bit more expensive and add an electronic aperture...

They said they would be doing that on this 35mm if I remember right.
I just wish they'd add the ROM and an aperture lever on the A mount version, it would add massive value to an already good lens as that would net full A mount compatibility.
The Nikon and Pentax versions are fine as-is, they're already fully coupled although a ROM would add some bonuses (Auto-setting of FL for IS on pentax, support for lower-end bodies on Nikon, EXIF on both). Adding a proper aperture coupling for Canon would be nice, but would drive the cost up somewhat.
Today they should reveal some more details regarding the new lens (at least this is what they say on their website).
By the way, the promotional video ("In The Eye Of Samyang") which is available at given link was shot using Samyang lenses. Some guys on our local photo gear forum say that a few scenes could have been filmed by T-S lenses

There would be a real market for $350 t-s lenses. I don't see the point of a 35 1.4 unless it's spectacular wide open. The crop users have the Sig 30 1.4 and ff users have some f1.8 options with AF at a similar price, assuming they price it like their other lenses.
The flare in some of those shots is definitely from an anamorphic lens/convertor, as is the vertically stretched bokeh. Would be great if they brought out affordable anamorphic glass for DSLR's!
You can see now the info on available mounts of the new 35/1.4 lens, i.e. Canon, Four-thirds, Nikon, Pentax, Samsung NX and Sony: http://www.samyang.pl/art,2,nowosci
