Wing... where ya been man? Where's your burds from your backyard?
Been watching the thread but got withdrawl symptoms and besides, didn't have much to show from last weekend. I got a thread going on in the N+W forum regarding ideas+critiques on homemade backyard perches (kinda pushed to 2nd-3rd page now, I think I'll bump it back up just for kicks) and have gotten some good ideas and will want to make some modifications to mine this weekend. I haven't seen any birds show up yet but by the time I get home from work, most birds are gone anyhow, even gone from my old store-bought birdfeeder which has gotten alot of birds during the daytime, so I will wait until this weekend to give a verdict.

Sounds good Wing. I hope some burds find their way to your backyard this weekend!
No problem, as long as we are staying within the thread's broad framework which is to showcase the 400 f/5.6 prime capabilities.
This evening I went out hoping to get the BCNH again.......fat chance, got a Grackle instead.
Tonite the 400 f/5.6 is coming off the camera.......and the 300 f/4 is gonna be mounted on.......we should be getting into the Tern shooting season any time now.

Congrats, Conrad. It's only fitting that the one who started this ridiculously long non-sticky thread is the one who gets to crash 1,000 !
Thanks Wing! Pretty funny where this thing has gone for sure!
