Believe it when I see it. Won't matter much to me anyways, my goal is a 5d and it looks as if the release of a 5d replacement won't drop the used price of a 5d any more than it time has already.
There are a number of 5D bodies on the Buy & Sell board lately, and I've noticed that the asking price have slipped from $1,800 just a few weeks ago to $1,600. Do you think some people may be dumping their 5D in anticipation of the 5D II announcement on April 22?

Maybe it's that, with a little leg work, you can buy a new 5D body (after rebates and sales) for $1,650 from many canon authorized dealers.
I believe AhrenL means (sensibly but indirectly) that you buy the kit with the 24-105, for something above $2700, plus a printer, get the rebate on the printer, then sell the lens and the printer to bring your total cost on the new body to $1650. Solid math if you don't count your time with the buying and selling.
