I must say I do like that front of that counter ( Is that the right word ) in your Interior photo.
And what a strange thing to say that about some body else that is pure envy i think.
I think it always work in your favour if you are more capable covering more then one subject.
Maybe you did mentioned it once long ago, but what did you make going into the photo business.
Or did you already took photo's when you were young?
Good Morning/Afternoon Jan Arie,
You should see it in person, it's brass and it is. knock out. Frisco is a historic railroad community and this project plays off of that history. The big room with the bar is the "Box Car Lounge".
You need an American treat(ribs, toffee to die for, well maybe not that far!!) to help?
Although the 2nd best ribs I have ever eaten are made "Danish style". I am not that sure what that means to cooking but only the bone was left!!

Just put my DJI Ronin S set up on B&S for $450, which is less than the accessories that are attached sold for originally. This "S" is in factory new condition, with the command module, numerous accessory handles, 14 hour battery and the original DJI case. Not sure if any of our group has ever shot with a gimbal like this but it is an incredible addition to any video shooter's equipment bag, smooth as glass. I balanced the 1DXIII on it with a 24-70, and it works, but the camera is at the outer limits in my opinion. Anything lighter or mirrorless and it is perfection.
As you guys know I shoot sports for a local newspaper. When we have night games to cover, I have to choose/process 6 photos quickly to send to the editor before the print deadline. So I cull the photos looking for sharpness and a composition with ball and eyes. I scan the photos quickly looking for those three attributes, everything else is passed over. Sometimes, when the next day is slow, I will review the whole set. I found this little gem from the basketball game I shot Tuesday evening. They say the photo should tell the story...there are consequences to closely guarding an opponent jumping for a rebound...

I just ordered the DJI Ronin S Series II which will allow for heavier camera combinations to be balanced. The 2 has several other new features that will work well with the video needs of a couple of new clients and the new Canon C70 will balance perfectly on it which is a plus because one of those should be arriving sometime in December.

I'm a little better fortunately, it is going slowly.
I can do the ribs french fries and the coleslaw do you deliver
The doc says that I must cut back on carbs, and my sugar levels were to high I have to report back to his assistant tomorrow for the final verdict so that means only carrots and lettuce for me I think
We will see were this ends.
To bad that the piece of water is a bit to big or I would come over for those ribs...
My new client that manufactures open heart surgical equipment and peripherals is very interested in ramping up their video material library. We did another product shoot yesterday and that gave us a chance to brainstorm video possibilities. Creating an entire studio at their manufacturing facility is pretty labor intensive, but it is a much more efficient use of their time and we have everything at our fingertips once we're set up so the extra effort is well worth it. The video end of this is very intriguing, I envision creating some really engaging video stories about their product lines and they'll be great for my portfolio as well.
My architectural client out of Chicago brought up the subject of videos when we were shooting together last week. We were discussing how unexciting "virtual tour" videos are and that morphed into a discussion about creating high end walk through videos of their projects. When I told them that we could do those in a dynamic way, and in up to 8K resolution, they were all in. The Canon C70 with a 15-35 mounted on it will be a perfect combination for projects like that, and for my business jet clients too.
Glad you are feeling a little better Jan Arie! Take good care of yourself, the world cannot afford to lose any more of the good guys, your type is in very short supply!
You never know what opportunities await with each new day. I've been asked to document the restoration of a half dozen A4 Skyhawks so I'm heading to the facility to scope the operation out and create a plan. More to follow!

I will post a photo of the 1st pilot shot down over N.Vietnam. He and I spoke at a "Welcome Home" ceremony many years ago-2014. Plus 3 more "Hotel Hilton Heroes" I met.
He flew an A4.
"The first combat loss of an A-4 occurred on 5 August 1964, when Lieutenant junior grade Everett Alvarez, of VA-144 aboard USS Constellation"
IT was a fine aircraft!

Wow! 6 A4’s ? That is a very big undertaking. As and when, I’m very interested to learn about that project. I’ve just been mentally toting up the ongoing upkeep … and run out of zero’s !
