Spent some time working on Hunter’s skiing videos yesterday. RYLO has a neat little thing that you can do in their software called “Small World” kind of fun, the horizon and trees make this footage cool
Thanks Joe! I hadn't fiddled with that feature until last night, but it seemed like something fun to do. I'm working on a non 360 5.8K cinema format edit but it's going to take a few days. The camera is amazing, pretty much perfect right out of the box.
Dang, that puts it on the other side of surgery for me. Hoping by then I'm not too limited. I can't say I blame you for not wanting to miss a trip with one of the grands.
Have to go get the car out of hock. Seems back in October, a caliper seized, wearing down brake pads and rotor on the driver front, and I didn't have the money to fix it then, and having to drive 100-200 miles a day to wherever I was being assigned. Been saving the last few months, and then of course the battery also decided to give out. New rotors, calipers, and pads on the front were needed. So, after a grand of parts, labor, and a new battery, I will go pick it up today on the third anniversary of me having it. When I first got it, I put $800 into the tires (80,000 mile warranty)

Good Afternoon Laura and Erich,
Looks like, after my client asked me to be in Ohio on the 22nd for a several day shoot, they have now discovered that the project is 6 weeks behind schedule. Sure hope that doesn't put us into Spring Blue Angels El Centro trip, cuz I am not missing Chandler and my trip to California.
Jim, Since I got it, and had done the new tires, all I've done is have the tires rotated, and oil changes. Front brakes and battery replaced, and it is good to go. It has been pretty reliable, particularly for the high miles on it! I didn't drive it due to the seized caliper, and forgot to go out and run it, so that did the battery in. Five year warranty on new battery.
Went to the stores today to get essentials for the weekend storm that's coming, no idea if we're getting freezing rain, ice, mixture, or just snow, but the scenarios right now include everything, and lots of it. Thankfully I have a gas stove, so all I need is a match to make things like grilled cheese, or omelets, and plenty of things that just need heating on the stove top.
I don't mess around when I shovel

Sorry Laura, hope it gives you trouble free service from here on out.
Well, the world seems to be conspiring to keep me down. First MAKS changed their dates after I had already booked flights, and now one of our higher ups has decided that it is part of his job description to decide when people take their annual vacation.
Still hoping to get to both shows this year (they're now 5 weeks apart instead of back to back weekends), but it's gotten significantly more difficult.
First two confirmations are out for this year's Air Tattoo...the Spanish Harrier, and the Swiss legacy hornet are the first to sign on, which should be good.
On my instagram (@SzaboPhoto) I recently did a recap of every airshow I've visited in chronological order. This shot was definitely one of my personal favourites.
I go down the street side to where my neighbor's property line starts, so that getting in/out of the vehicle is a little easier. The Sunfire in the driveway is going bye-bye, getting donated to the local NPR station. Son drove it, got into a wreck with it, so it has a salvage title now, and when he went to change out suspension parts last year, found a crack in the frame.... So that will leave my Ranger, my Taurus, and son's vehicle at my house.. The shovel is occasionally gas powered
