Gunny is a wizard, aside from flying The Strike Eagle in Bosnia and Desert Storm, then being an F/15 IP, he has advanced degrees in Physics, he's amazing. He's the only guy I know who flies by the seat of his pants, but is analyzing every dynamic and control input in his head as well. I know when my aircraft are about to "break bad", but couldn't begin to explain the math behind it. There's a lot going on behind that calm exterior with my Buddy Gunny

Sounds like a very interesting and smart man Jim. I bet he has some good stories.

Happy to say that I have never had the "pleasure" of a ride like that. Did get to do an emergency, “ out of fuel" landing at Love Field on an America West flight from Phoenix to DFW. The 75 was so overstressed by wind shear and an inept crew that it remained at Love for a month undergoing inspections. When I walked into the FBO at Love I looked back and there were half dozen passengers sitting on the tarmac , several crying, some just with their heads in their hands.
Looks like, after my client asked me to be in Ohio on the 22nd for a several day shoot, they have now discovered that the project is 6 weeks behind schedule. Sure hope that doesn't put us into Spring Blue Angels El Centro trip, cuz I am not missing Chandler and my trip to California.
Well, I wish I could say at least the weather will be better by the beginning of March, but there's no chance of that. Keep us in the loop. When's El Centro?
Fortunately all the images they want are interior so weather shouldn't make much difference on this one. El Centro is either the week of 2/11 or 2/18, the PAO is trying to determine when we'd have the most activity. The Blues will of course be in residence on either date. There are only a couple of slots left for this trip due to the fact that several key ISAP sponsors have indicated a desire to come out and spend some time with the group. We should know the exact dates this week sometime.
My Hero7 and it's accessories arrived today, three back up batteries, Robinson Helicopter mount, prop filters, should be all set. Hope this does what I think it will!
