Not Air To Air and not anywhere near as good as you guys, here's a few from this weekend's Air Show at Canadian Forces Base Trenton.
Saturday was a washout, lots of rain and low cloud. We spent a couple hours walking around the static display amongst the many people who braved it out.
Sunday started out with fog - almost zero visibility, but it burned off and things looked promising, so off we went. And it was worth it, for most of the day it was partly cloudy, it turned out well.
The highlight for me was seeing a Hurricane, Spitfire, Mustang and best of all, the Lancaster. I've never seen or heard them fly before, but man, let me tell you, those Merlins gave me goose-bumps!

First, we don't rate people or their photography, we just like seeing aircraft (and other) photos people take. Thank you for posting them here. I like them.
Second- +1 for "Hurricane, Spitfire, Mustang and best of all, the Lancaster". You had the Battle of Britain flying over and you did a great job capturing the show.

A really nice collection of war birds, Pete! Hope to see the RCAF's F-18 in that new paint scheme, really cool.
Going to Binghamton, NY this Sunday for the show, eight performers, the biggies are the Blue Angels and the F-35B. The weekend after that I will be going to the "CALIFORNIA CAPITAL EVENING AIRSHOW" in Sacramento, great lineup and it's late afternoon/sunset/night show, which is the main reason I am going, not often I get to see so many military jets in great light. Here is the lineup that I couldn't resist.
USAF Thunderbirds [F-16 Fighting Falcon (x 6)]
- Italian AF Frecce Tricolori [MB-339 (x 10)]
- USAF F-35A Lightning II Demo
- USAF Heritage Flight [F-35A Lightning II and P-51 Mustang]
- US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet Demo
- US Navy Legacy Flight [F/A-18 Super Hornet and Warbird TBD]
- USAF C-17 Globemaster III Demo
- USAF U-2 Dragon Lady Flybys
- Dennis Sanders [Sea Fury]
- Nathan Hammond [Super Chipmunk]
- Sukhoi West Demo Team [Su-26 (x 2)]
- Patriot Parachute Team

Does anyone want a mint EF1.4 Series III extender? They are $378.00 , I’d sell this one for $150.00
That's a good deal Jim...I had one, then sold it then got another after I got the EF500 and man those two are a hell of a combo but didn't jive with my 300 which was weird.
GLWS- ( thanks for posting first on here )

That's one helluva a show in Sac...I should drive down and shoot with ya !!!
Before the show in Sacramento, I will have Thursday evening, whole day on Friday and Saturday morning to kill. I am looking at some coastal locations in northern Cal. and Redwood NP for some landscape shooting. For California the northernmost I have been to is Sonoma County. For the airshow I will go on Saturday, if it's really good, I may go on Sunday too. I don't usually go to the same show for two days in in a row. It would be great if I get to meet you in persona at the show!

You are NOT giving yourself enough credit for your fine photography Pete! As Ray states this is an "all inclusive family"! You post your images and normally are not judged on the quality. And I have NOT seen ANY images posted that I would consider "sub-standard" If you are, then if it works fine! If it does not concern you, then forgeta 'bout it!
I do not get to shoot many A2A photos so I really enjoy the posts from those who can! You included! It is NOT "a Brownie moment" here on MA2A!
I love aircraft posted from members from other countries!
Thanks Dan...
.
Douglas,
Check out Bodega Bay ( the Birds movie ), Pt. Reyes, Golden Gate Bridge, probably best to stay out of SF now a days tho and up to Point Arena Lighthouse. Sac's a big area now a days, lots of people and traffic...Be careful and watch your gear and your car.

The Redwood NP area is just full of photography Douglas! The entire area is packed with photography as Bill states! The Lessen Volcanic area, Mt Shasta, Crater Lake really isnt that far if you have time.
Bill would love to meet you and show the "lay of the land"!
Have a GREAT trip and cant wait to see your images!

Best to head to the west where I mentioned...Lassen is hot and not as pretty but still different and a 3+ hour drive one way and Crater Lake would be a 6hr drive one way.
Of course...Douglas likes to drive...
I will stay clear of the urban areas of Sacramento and S.F.! I will hit some of the spots in the northern Cal coast before the weekend's airshow, then hit Yosemite on Mon/Tue before I head out to L.A for for business stuff. Summer is probably not a good time to see Yosemite though, I have been there before.
I thought I had never seen F-4 flying, but last week when i was looking at some old pictures, I found these from 2012.
Canon EOS 7DEF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens400mmf/5.61/1250s125 ISO0.0 EV

Well Boys, I was close to twinges of buyer's remorse over the Insta360, just because my first couple of test strips were a bit frustrating and I was clumsy with the camera. That all went away this afternoon when I was out on a lake doing a shoot. I am definitely behind the power curve with it at this point, but the potential, in competent hands is almost unimaginable. I'll have something for you in the next couple of days.
