This evening I scouted locations for winter sunsets. I found a nice spot, complete with flocks of Canada geese, so now I just need a more interesting sunset.

I keep looking at the burning suitcase pic, trying to imagine the story
A lovely package arrived this evening – a used Nikon 35mm f/1.8G. This should complete my lens collection for now – two slow VR zooms, and two fast primes. Of course I had to take some pictures . . .
Another old dog, ISO 1600, f/2, and 1/60. I have read complaints about bokeh on this lens, but it looks good so far.
Two samples to show the performance of the TC20EIII with the old 80-200mm f/2.8 AF-S (becoming a 160-400mm f/5.6 with clearly faster AF than the 80-400mm VR):
Nikon D3, 80-200mm f/2.8 AF-S + TC20EIII @ 330 mm, ISO 400, 1/200 sec, f8, handheld.
This new TC works well with old 80-200mm af-s, at least for short distances.
At least for short distances (< 20m ) and for "stalking" wildlife, it appears this new TC works well with the 80-200mm af-s.

Ryan: Love it, am a fan of your tableaus ... but please tell me that the flames were added in post...
Zichar, the flames were legitimate! They were pretty well controlled on the suitcase, but got a little out of hand at one point. My sister is brave lol.
