To keep the thread moving.... I thought this shot, which is a merge of 3 hand held shots with the 70-200VR f4, may be interesting to those who haven't seen a "Blue Bottle" jellyfish (cousin to the Portuguese Man of War jellyfish in Florida etc...)..... touching any of their stinger tentacles can be very painful! This group of multiple jellyfish is known as an "Armada".
The best photos are still ahead of me. Hard to pick - but definitely something from Black Rock City. For some it's a hippie / freak fest. For others - best place to photograph art & people.
Lol... I didn't realize how long this thread has been running! Here's a four shot, hand held pano taken last night overlooking Lake Powell, in the Glen Canyon National Park.... The sunset wasn't brilliant, but added enough colour to make the shot interesting.. the second shot is also captured at sunset, in Grand Canyon National Park.... the silhouettes and layers of shade make this image for me...
I thought I was imagining things, but this thread has lost a lot of images/posts. When checking the archive through the link, there are only five pages.
