ey, thank you all. glad you liked the shot. The background is dark gray and i only used one softbox. In post i've added a vignette on the background to give the idea that i also used a flash on the background. it makes the image more 'intense'. Here one with out my vignette effort... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3024/2650784628_3e6f11d47e_o.jpg
The images without vignette are without any special post processing. (Except resizing and sharpening for web)
The tree is balanced beautifully by the rays of golden sunlight coming through the clouds. What wouldn't I give to see that view in person. One day maybe.
Hint of vignetting in the corners with that 10-20 though ? (easy to correct in pp or so people always say !). My tok 12-24 is the same wide open.
My girlfriend lives down the road from some Nikon Offices, and I've been meaning to get a picture of it for here for ages. I finally got my opportunity, but it was late after the pub...
She's no Carlos, and it gives her a bit of a complex
For whatever reason, I'm losing my colors when I save in Photoshop. Its driving me nuts Blew the highlights a bit on the feet but I was aiming for the face so I say mission accomplished.
