This is a really enjoyable thread now that we're seeing some images and getting honest feedback from real users and all the expert gasbags have scurried away to impart their wisdom elsewhere.

I have one problem with the CGF100RF. When viewing pictures I have taken the camera does to change automatically from LCD to EVF as it does when taking pictures. Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong?
There has been some comments about the lens and hood. I think the lens is optically good enough for this camera. Not a stellar lens but is sharp, most obvious flaw being vingetting - and the fact that it is f/4. The much debated hood is actually quite ok. With filter attached it protects the lens so well that I have actually never used the lens cap.
GFX100RF is very engaging and fun camera. Since getting the camera I have used my Sony gear only twice. Once for 200-600mm and another time because I wanted to take a portrait with shallow DOF. For all normal picture taking GFX100RF seems to do the job much better than I expected. I do not use cropping very much but it is nice to know cropping is possible if I want to.
Regaring image quality, dynamic range is surprising even if shooting slightly higher than base ISO. Other than that, I do not find the colors or tonality much different from X100V. However, maybe because of the resolution and sharpness, and also perhaps improvements in processing, often images are ready for sharing straight out of the camera (I use C1).

I have considered Hadley Digital too small for Sony bodies with EVF on top but it depends how tight one wants to pack it. Anyways GFX100RF is so heavy that it needs more protection than a very light camera as X100V that I carried for years in a bare leather pouch without any padding.
Please tell us your experience when you get the Smallrig L bracket. It looks stylish and practical.
This is a very late reply.
I did buy the Smallrig L bracket as well as the half case.
They both were excellent.
But I wanted something that fitted with the aesthetics of the GFX100RF without being too intrusive. It should also have an Arca Swiss dovetail built in.
After a couple more half cases,
I finally settled on the LIM half case from South Korea.
They have form fitting leather cases in various colors with a metal color coordinated base. The base has a very subtle dove tail between the leather top and the metal base.
It also lets you easily change batteries with ease and adds a second 1/4 tread if you choose to use a different tripod mount.
I choose the black model that blends into the black body of my silver GFX100RF.
In addition to leather on the front of the hand grip, there’s a small leather part on the rear where my thumb naturally falls when gripping the camera.
The GFX100RF with LIM leather half cases fits in the Billingham Hadley digital perfectly.
I purchased my LIM case from Amazon, but the black one is sold out. You can get other colors if you want.
They are also available on eBay and are made to order.
Just a note: they are pretty expensive, but worth it.

It's an attractive-looking half-case, but I have always been unsure why someone would want to add a half-case to their camera body. Can you say a word or two about the benefits you are getting by adding the case?

1/2 case gives you a bit more grip / purchase for some folks. Also, when you set your camera down (think in the field on a rock / concrete ledge, etc.) it is protected a bit more.

Primarily to improve the grip. The GFX100RF without the half case is ok, but is better with one. Especially when the weather gets hot and fingers get sweaty as it has been here in the Bay Area for the last two days.
The second goal is to have a built in Arca Swiss dovetail. Even though it is designed as a hand held street camera,
I do plan on using a tripod like the Leica table tripod with Leica head or the Gitzo GT1555. I have both and use one or the other depending on my use case.
I some time use a small hydraulic arm from manfretto with a mini super clamp. The hydraulic arm has a Arca Swiss clamp at one end. Manfrotto doesn’t make those small hydraulic arms anymore because they were pretty expensive to manufacture.
This setup is incredibly flexible and very sturdy.
I once recorded my son’s classical concert by clamping it to the back of chair. That way I didn’t have to occupy floor space with a tripod and bother everyone else.

You just need to change the view mode for the evf. What can cause confusion with the Fuji system is you have two different options for evf settings one for shooting and one for playback.

@deadwolf, looks like CDMX and some surrounding spots (Teotihuacan?). Also looks like maybe some easter Gulf of Mexico locations? Love seeing images of Mexico!

All CDMX and Queretaro! (The resort/brewery-looking locations are at Hotel Hércules/Cerveceria Hércules in Queretaro.)

My SmallRig grip & arca swiss mount plate has been lost somewhere in the battle fields of tariff wars. Ordered it from Germany at quite attractive price with 4 day delivery time. 4 weeks has now passed and nothing happens... Thanks
After a month with the camera I agree with most of the positives and negatives already discussed. Starting from negatives, even in early summer brightness there are moments when I miss IBIS. In fact all everyday cameras should have IBIS. Just pure laziness and wrong kind of cost cutting from Fujifilm not including IBIS!
My second complain is menu system. While physical controls are nice and straightforward, it is difficult to understand how Fujifilm did not simplify menus to match the photocentric identity of the camera. The problem is made worse by the fact that Fujifilm menus are about the worst in the industry.
Overall I really like GFX100RF. Image quality is as good it should be and camera is fun and fast to use. EVF and LCD are very good. Even oddities such as crop lever seem to work fine for me although I must say that the 80mm crop as it feels like an insult to the 102mp MF sensor.
Some have complained about the AF. I have had zero issues with it, although I feel Fujifilm has long to go before it is in same level as Sony. However, for my photography purpouses ND-filter could be darker or be selectable. The second image was taken with ND on, and to get long enough time in daylight I had to stop to f/22 which was not good for sharpness. I think ND filter has also blueish color tint.

So, no size or energy limitations when adding IBIS for a medium format sensor?
There are for sure but I think Fuji went for the headline on size over the usefulness of IS. They went for size over everything else and made a worse camera as a result of that decision.
It could have been OIS like the Leica Q3. Had Fuji gone down that path they would have made a somewhat bigger lens and lost the headline. But they would still have been able to make it the size the GFX RF is with that absolute disgrace of a filter/hood system. Instead, what they delivered was a great sound bite at the expense of OIS, practicality and usability.
Or they could have rotated the battery 90 degrees for a bigger grip and improved the handling, negated the need for accessory grips and added IBIS.
Instead we have a camera that needs. tripod more often than it could have and needs to grow in size to get decent handling or use a simple filter.
So on paper Fuji can claim it’s the smallest and lightest but to add a filter it’s no smaller than the X2D, in reality. I like the RF but that bit does annoy. Fuji didn’t go for as good as it could be but compromised for the marketing department.

You are looking for GFX100SII. I don't know complainers why not just simply buy the GFX100SII.
I have a GFX100SII and 100II plus the X2D. And the RF. I like the camera but I’m not deluded into thinking it’s perfect or couldn’t have been better. I can choose to like the camera overall and still wish they hadn’t chomped on a few features just to make it smaller. OIS and a proper filter thread would still leave a smaller camera than the 100Sii and it has a leaf shutter.

I don't know how mutch would be bigger the lens with OIS, In Leica Q the sensor is significant smaller.
The adapter ring seems silly, I think it's more a marketing purpose to keep the lens small as possible for advertising videos, photos. Also it doesn't contain lens elements, so it's true that add a size bump, however not significant weight that influences the weight center. That is more important factor with a neck strap carrying RF style camera than overall length of the lens. I find Leica Q bodies too small for those lenses, in case of Rx1RII the ratio is even worse. I prefer a significant larger camera compared the attached lens, with mass center behind the grip.
I think best way attaching the ring with filter, and it also works as a hood, but you have to buy a lens cap. But keep in mind the accessory hood provides a great protection for accidental hits.
