April 2025: I sold my house to buy THIS camera! Why it's the only camera that can take photos in 2025!
August 2025: Why I SOLD my Fuji! 2025's most overrated camera ever?!
Maybe August is when one needs to start prepearing for winter. Time to swap the camera to buy a house
It is fairly obvious that nobody should buy 100RF because it is the best camera. Neither it is the jack of all (or even most) trades. There are Canons, Nikons and Sonys for the sensible buyer. Even Fuji makes some sensible ILC cameras. However, I doubt if X100 qualifies here - it is selling well because it is cute, people like it, and takes nice images when used right.
Buying GFX100RF because one can afford it and wants to photograph with it is perfectly valid reason.

In the last 2 years, you have made 13 posts.
10 of those have been in GFX100RF threads telling us why you don't want it and why your Q is better.
the omnipotent forum bully goes on the attack , forums are very unpleasant places to be thanks to your kind , i am interested by the Fuji so i had a look on here.
Some of the threads on the Leica forum like the one regarding the Voigtlander 21mm f1,4 VM are outstanding and packed with intelligent discussion and fantastic images so it was quite a shock coming on these spiteful fuji threads full of posters stuck right up their own backside.

I pre-ordered on 3/20 and got the same email, I assume it's an automated mail as I did contact them earlier this week to inquire about changing my payment method and they indicated the camera was still on track for shipping on the US release date of 4/24. Can't wait!
Thanks for the infromation, I am maybe unneccessary worried, although I did not contac B&H since placing the preorder, so let's hope for 24th or around "good news" email.

Despite the general doubts, the GFX100RF is a functional camera. There are already quite a few photos taken with it on Flickr, not all of which are bad.

I don’t think anyone suggested that it isn’t a functional camera. ;-)
FujiRumors today reports that it may be a while before it is readily available. One guess is that this is tariff related, as it reportedly affects some other popular Fujifilm cameras.

If you subtract the ad hominem, snark, and general insults from some of the posts, there isn’t a lot left to them, is there?

Here's the album, a collection of high res, sharp, mostly boring photography, which again brings me back to my point that you better bring your A game with this camera. That said, the output isn't all that different from your average Q shooting dentist wannabe street savant.

At least , knowing the GF100RFshipments are put on hold to the US , now the people who actually used the camera can continue the forum discussion on this camera

When I left the US for Europe, I never imagined that would benefit me in terms of camera gear purchases, but there you have it. Strange world. Wonder if other brands will follow Fuji’s path and put the US market on hold. And surely it means grey imports will increase, for those willing to pay the price.
