Would folks mind posting some original and deep crop side-by-sides? I have seen a couple posted here and the detail seems to hold up very well. I'm not sure my 200-600 holds up as well to the more extreme crops. I'm contemplating this lens +2TC for a birding trip to Cambodia to replace my 200-600. Thanks!

these are some of my torture tests so far... the osprey nest is about 300' away and the swallows were around 100-150' away

far distance and deep crops

results would be much better if you could get closer to your subjects

Thank you, Jim! You got some handsome hummers too, gorgeous gorget! I hope I will get to shoot an adult male at least once this season, which will end in few week. No luck so far.
