I hope it's ok to post a video in this thread but I picked up a 600TC just two weeks ago and have been so smitten with this lens that I wanted to share a video. Having an f4 base and ability to employ multiple 1.4xTC's almost without impunity is absolutely fantastic. This video was shot with the 600TC with the internal engaged and an external 1.4xTC addded. The video was captured using a Z8 in 4k120p H265 2.3x DX crop mode (2700mm equivalent) IN LOW LIGHT.
Processed with Davinci Resolve, no noise reduction applied.
Just a stellar lens and worth every penny IMO.

Awesome! And you’re a bad influence Lance Taking a cue from you and after seeing your photos (particularly the ones at 840mm), I am in the process of selling off my 400mm TC and 800mm PF to get this 600mm TC !
I take no responsibility!
You've done a similar thing to me. I traded my much-loved F mount 400 f2.8E FL VR and also the 800 f6.3PF in order to afford the Z600 f4 TC. The 400 f2.8E FL VR was getting just a bit too heavy to use as much as I would like so, I rarely used it. I was offered a great trade-in deal with it - a local B&M store was offering a double-the-trade-in-value-deal on any two Nikon lenses on the purchase of a new Z lens - I would say it was backed by a local Nikon promotion. Interestingly, I had been to this same store only 3 weeks earlier and they offered me AU$6,500 as a trade-in. I didn't want to have to sell privately as it meant all the hassles and security of selling a large $ item for cash etc. I then find out that they were offering this deal and asked them what they would actually offer me for the lens knowing full well that they wouldn't go double for a $6,500 lens! They came to AU$10,000 which was way more than I would have achieved privately (I only paid about $12,000 new!). So, I couldn't let the opportunity go to get this much for the trade so, I looked at the two exotics, either the 400TC or 600TC which I was never going to buy because their cost in Oz now are $24,000 and $26,000 respectively!! I just couldn't justify that sort of money - our AU$ had depreciated about 30% to the US$ over the 9 years since I purchased my 400 f2.8E FL VR. However, I was still AU$16,000 short. The store offered me double trade on my Z800 PF as well, going from AU$5,000 to AU$10,000 as well. I now had AU$20,000 to spend on the 600TC!! A couple of other lenses were also traded but not at the double deal as it only applied to two lenses. I traded the 500PF and a couple of Z lenses like the 24-70 f4, 35 f1.8S and 24 f1.8S as I wasn't using them and I now have the 600 TC!
