Some shots from the fallow deer rut. Most of the activity was early in the morning and late in the evening. Perfect for primes with a great aperture.

just when I thought I'd seen all the unique bucks in this local park, I found this lil guy giving the ladies hell tonight

he came running full speed around a corner and was very surprised to see me about 10' away

also had a little squirrel keep me company for a bit

more short eared owls

I ended up sitting out there for 3 hours last night with 2 cameras. one with the 400mm and one with the 800mm. took 4k pics with the 800, 2k pics with the 400.

once I was done with editing, every single one I picked happened to be from the 400 lol
