Lockwood, homeported in Yokosuka. One of my "projects" is to dig out and scan (or have scanned) some of my slides from those days. Almost all are Kodachrome so they should be in fairly good shape.

Kodachrome is the only archival color flim (per museums)and should still be beautiful.
I got all over the far east and Australia (shellback). Was on the USS Okinawa and the USS Tripoli. Our home port was Subic Bay and we were at the old seaplane ramp at Cubi Point.
