p.1 #13 · Life on the Street - Post your Street Photography here
Why not have a thread for it all in one place? And this forum is for a lot of other kinds of things like architecture and automobiles etc. So if one has n interest in street they don't have to click and if yo uonly are interested in street theres a thread for that.

That's the idea.

This is quite confusing.
This entire forum is for street photography.
Why are you encouraging others to post their photography in your individual thread within the forum intended for just that activity?
Rich
There are many other threads in this category, and it gets tedious trying to find street photography. There is absolutely no intention to stop people from creating their own threads. Just a place to scroll through street life!

I haven't seen any complaints or discussion that anyone finds it "tedious" to find "Street" threads in the City, Street and Architecture section. That would be an interesting thing to bring up with the site administrators. Why don't you do that . . .
Maybe then there would be a separate Street section . . . (or maybe not) . . .
Instead of suddenly encouraging others to post under your initial thread - which is an arbitrary change of the forum by you and which causes no end in difficulty finding those subsequent threads, responding to them, understanding statistics from them. All those other posts show up as data related to you, not to those who posted.
Your initial post is a very good collection of street images. It's not unusual for people responding to a thread to post an image or two of their own as part of the subsequent discussion of the first post. But to then have a whole new string of new additional posts in a sub thread in a major section of a forum is far more confusing and disorienting than the "problem" you have decided exists.
