Sorry, didn’t notice the question lol. I’m not sure to be honest, but there was tons of honeysuckle all around this and I know Trumpet Vine/Creepers grow in this thicket too
And I’ll work on the butterflies in flight this weekend as well. Thought about it a few times this past weekend as some flew by but was focused on birds lol
Edit: the flower was in fact a very early stage trumpet vine. Campsis radicans aka “cow-itch”

I've been spending some time with a Bald Eagle the last few weeks and he's been pretty tolerant of me. He chills right off the salt marshes either on a sign or just in the grass/edge of the water. Most of these are from 50 feet to maybe as close as 20 feet. I stay about 50 feet back and if comes to me then so be it. I won't pressure him.
Very nice Eric. Can you introduce me to your friend . On another note, have you been to Conowingo lately. I'm thinking of maybe going tomorrow (Wednesday).

Thanks! I will talk with my friend lol...
The Dam I think is about done for the shad run. I was there a couple times around May 4th and there were very few Eagles, maybe just the resident Eagles. Can't say you won't have a good day or some good action but at this point it may only be a day or 2 maybe 3 each week.
The nest behind the parking lot has to Eaglets that should be fledging any day if they haven't started to already, so you may get some of that action.

another BIF (Bike in Flight) shot.
Pro Rider Scott Meshey taken with the Canon 16-35 2.8 III and Fringer adapter.
I love this lens and it serves double duty as it also works on my GFX100s.

Some burrowing owls. Check out the eyes on the one owl. I have seen photos of them with these eyes before but this is the first time I have photographed them personally. The last 2 are with the 500mmpf and the rest with the 100-400z. CC welcomed and appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Wow never saw eyes like that before, just amazing, wonder what causes this?
Images came out great and the zoom worked really well!
