My first wildlife/bird shot with my trial new Z9. It was real hot (87 degrees F) and humid today and very bright sun all of which doesn't make for the best conditions (atmospherics). But got one anyway. I'm still learning the in's and out's of this focus system. The Sony is more of an "automatic" shooter as compared to the likes of a Z9/Z8, but one is to have more control which isn't a bad thing. Loving that 100-400 as it's so well balanced and sharp too.

You haven't by any chance changed the limiter switch position?
