I’ve taken many photos this weekend with my Z9 and a large portion are reporting “ISO 63” as the ISO. Is this a reporting error/what could be causing this?

I’ve been testing out the Z9 for my landscape work and will be writing an article about the results for PhotographyLife.com soon - let's just say I am not the least bit disappointed
This is from a single exposure. DR at ISO 64 is essentially just as good as the famed D850 for real-world field work.
EDIT for additional info:
This is from White Sands National Park. I exposed for the highlights and pushed the exposure about 3.65 stops. The Z9 sensor handled it beautifully. Interestingly, I also shot this scene with a series of exposure brackets and combined those in Lightroom and results are almost exactly the same as processing just this single file. I’ve added a screenshot showing what the raw file looked like before adjustments.

Blake,
that is because you received the special 63 model. Very few in production consider yourself lucky...

🤦🏼♂️ - I know I'm "special" but this is a weird way for my camera to show it. I can't remember - are you shooting with the "FL" version of the 400mm? My wife has stolen my Z9 and 300mm 2.8VRII so I need a second body and a 400mm lens.
First world problems for sure.

Blake, I am shooting with the 400 2.8 FL E, and I am amazed at how well it works with the Z9. Prefer it over using any of my other Pro model dslrs..

Why is he bowing to his Pelican overlords in that first pic? Blakehfreeman wrote:
Two from this weekend. A little annoyed because my wife is now a better photographer than me. 🤦🏼♂️

Hey everyone... there are some FANTASTIC photos in this thread! I can't wait to share my first pops with the Z9.
I just put my order today with Nikon. Knowing it's on backorder... What's the typical expected wait for them to ship?
thanks!
You'll be waiting for a long time if you just placed an order. Your best bet is stalking BestBuy for a supply drop (they seem to have it available for minutes at a time as the shipments arrive).

Haha you'd be correct! I got a shot of the bald eagle.... not a wonderful shot but a shot non the less.. We're gypsies so currently enjoying the nice "warm" Dallas weather.
I Did spot a nest near the Eagle we saw but I did hear about a fallen nest.
Edit: Here is my awful shot. Amazing how much detail is in the shot. It appears the Z9 grabbed the branch just in front of him. Shot and two crops in. Again, awful shot but it’s a bald Eagle so 🤷🏼♂️.

Neat shots Blake.
These look surprisingly familiar. I'd venture a guess that these were taken approximately half a country away from Eldorado Hills, CA.
Perhaps a spot near where a Bald Eagles nest fell to the ground last week when the wind cause one of the supporting branches to break.......
I "think" this is shot taken just to the right of where your shots were taken.
