I’ve been testing out the Z9 for my landscape work and will be writing an article about the results for PhotographyLife.com soon - let's just say I am not the least bit disappointed
This is from a single exposure. DR at ISO 64 is essentially just as good as the famed D850 for real-world field work.
EDIT for additional info:
This is from White Sands National Park. I exposed for the highlights and pushed the exposure about 3.25 stops. The Z9 sensor handled it beautifully. Interestingly, I also shot this scene with a series of exposure brackets and combined those in Lightroom and results are almost exactly the same as processing just this single file. I’ve added a screenshot showing what the raw file looked like before adjustments.
