Just received the lens. After testing at 35, 100, and 150 mm at F2, 2.8, and 4 this seems a perfect copy. I will share the results of my tests later this weekend. I must admit, this is indeed a lens it is easy to fall in love with, despite the lens being on the bigger side. Three quick shots (one is the customary dog where the shutter speed could be faster).

How are you guys using the custom buttons and switches on the lens?
I cant speak for others, but I have the first setting as the regular focus hold setting on the camera. Second is preset to infinity at 35mm. 3rd is focus a-b (even though I rarely take video). I prefer changing aperture on the camera body, but I can see how useful it would be for video to change it on the lens.

I would like to love this lens.
There is one in my town shop and I had the opportunity to test it for some quick shot.
I was impressed by most of these shots at the medium long end but not so good at the short end.
I find the lens not so good specially at 35 and 50 mm wide open at the borders.
For the rest it is spectacular.
Could someone post some examples of good performance in the critical conditions I mentioned?
Thanks!
It should replace my 135 GM, a perfect lens but limited for my use being fixed focal and therefore rarely utilized.
For the exchange Ive been asked to add 500 E.

This is very nice, but I cannot evaluate the borders sharpness.
For instance when you take a picture of a group of people I would like to be sure that also people at the borders is fine.
