Nikon is producing items in batches. They don't have running capacity for all products at once.
So 28/2 will have to wait their turn for more productions as far as I know.
I don't even shoot Nikon Z but this lens is tempting me to pick up a Z5...just so I can shoot with it. You know, that and the 85mm 1.8 S. Can't wait for some folks on here to start posting pics.
Tracking updated late today, should have it Thursday, very excited and will take it out ASAP.

Presumably the Zfc + 28 kit is so popular that the 28mm as a separate item is delayed. Nikon tend to be conservative in their estimates of demand lately. Covid may still be affecting production.
Looks pretty good in that one. foreground, background, transition all look decent, not too nervous etc. Sharpness looks fine. Nothing exceptional necessarily but no faults either.

One more outside in between rains - I think I have a new friend
I must say the bokeh quite good for a small lens. Happy to see real users getting similar results to the rather nice Nikon samples. This seems like a delight to pair with a 24-200 travel kit.
Saw on DPR that at least Adorama began shipping in the US.
@ArendV, thank you! This is beyond helpful, it's exactly what I wished to see. Honestly, I am impressed by the center sharpness wide open, let alone f2.8 and f4, as well as it maintaining its bokeh as it stops down. Frankly I am more than impressed...
When/if you have some time, I'd like to see some that show more of an upper-torso, mid-range subject distance performance at f2, 2.8 and 4 as well.
