I'm with you Trench. Spending time on these forums had me all but convinced that I was missing something and needed to switch systems. For those that did that's great. But for my needs, I'd rather have the cash in my pocket. I still spend way too much time browsing here and have yet to see anything that makes me think I made the wrong decision. The great photographers are still producing great shots and the not so great photographers are still producing not so great shots. Mirrorless won't make this bird do anything more interesting

Here, I did a "selfie" in 1985, with a Great White Heron. See the muck in the back of the image. It was the end of the Everglades dry season and there was no water in this pond. The Great White landed maybe 30 feet away and strode toward me. It stopped where you see it and peered down into the tiny pool of water, that my boots made in the muck .
It stayed in that position long enough for a friend to go back to my vehicle, retrieve a wide-angle lens and my tripod. After a long wait, the GWH struck at something in the pool and came out with a sculpin.
