I was thinking this might be the be all for the outdoors, kind of like a Canon EOS 1/1Ds combined into a single body, but then I read "not guaranteed to be 100% dust and water resistant".

Same battery grip/battery as the A9 II/A7r IV. So likely identical or near identical body size.

Note that both Canon & Nikon charge $6/6.5K for their flagship cameras and they as far less capable.

There is no R/L eye selection for birds but then again I've yet to get that to work for me on the R5....I think we will be okay without that feature

Kind of an A9R: very appealing for sports, wildlife and photojournalism, but not for a portrait-landscape-street photographer. At the same price Fuji will announce tomorrow the GFX 100s.

Enormously impressive. Not at all of interests to me, but for the targeted audience it seems unrivaled.

Curious to see the base DR. That EVF resolution/magnification/refresh rate is superb.

Sony really needs to update some of their lenses I even make use of 10fps, let alone 30.

The a9ii and ZA 35 depreciation in the last couple weeks 😥

Can�t wait for the trickle down�that BionXR processor is 8x faster. Should bode well for future AF modules.

Great work Sony. Very interesting how the GFX100s is so different but plays at nearly the same price and similar size.

All this makes me think maybe I should start buying AF lenses lol

Credit to Sony for this great release! Actually credit also to competition driving this product out.

I think this is for those who where disappointed A9ii wasn't 36mp? and those who want high resolution combined with speed.

For me, I can wait till a9 drops to $1500 pre-owned

but who knows what a7mkVII will be by then. Future is bright!
