First time seeing the Hairy getting a drink at the stream. it was blocked by a rock to get it drinking but fortunately it popped up on a perch above the stream. They are so skittish around here. The silent shutter of the and crop mode definitely helped in getting this shot.
I am wondering, are all of you shooting RAW and post processing? Are any of these wonderful photos just Jpegs out of the camera
I think most are shooting RAW, but the amount of post processing is likely highly variable. Some may do only mild tweaks and crops, if any at all.
I don't have an R5, so take my comments with a grain of salt. I shoot with an R, shoot RAW only, but frequently use the Canon phone app to export them as jpegs straight out of camera. It's the best of both worlds. I sometimes use the in-camera RAW processor to do some mild tweaks to exposure or white balance or to use the Auto Lighting Optimizer, then share the jpeg to my phone.

I have been shooting RAW since 2006. I would think 80% or better who post here are shooting RAW. Since we have no actual statistics I posted that value using a basic statistical tool.
