It is working well yes. I think you saw my update in the issues thread? Get closer, practice tracking with evf, lens firmware update and refine PP all factor in with this set up.

Glad to see you that you found resolution (literally and figuratively) to your issues. I still think there are opportunities for Canon to refine the firmware and features and hopefully the situation will improve for everyone in the coming months? The leap frog in technology has outpaced the engineers appreciation of the complexities of these systems much like the early years of computing. Consider how long it took microsoft to eclipse the blue screen of death which was a staple of windows experience? In fact, I just experienced one a few weeks ago on one of my systems and had to do a ground up reinstall. As I alluded in another thread this is more of a journey (frustrating at times) rather than a race.
