I noted in another thread this combo R5/400DO/2X is giving me some trouble, not grabbing focus fast enough before the geese are out of range. Have you posted your AF method settings anywhere? Could also just be my lack of experience with bird photography. Thanks, John

Not sure what's up with that. In Chrome browser on my Mac it doesn't show up, but in Chrome on my iPad it does. Weird.

I'm using Chrome on Windows and it continues to show for me. Also in Internet Explorer.
Shows in Safari and Chrome on my Mac also.

One late evening around 10pm while setting at the pond at one of our cabins in AK drinking a cold refreshing adult beverage as the last light was almost gone.

All while listening to the sounds of common & Pacific loons, a GHO and a few Sandhills off in the distance.
