Side note: For anybody that wants to reminisce dial-up internet service, come to this hotel and opt for the "free" internet service versus the $4.59/day "high-speed" internet! It took a few minutes for the last page of images to render. I'm afraid to even try Rob's video until tomorrow when I spend the extra bling on something faster.
Oh well, the rates are considerably lower than the previous hotel I stayed at, and the place is quite clean and otherwise comfortable. I guess they need to earn money somehow.
EDIT: I'm actually getting faster, MUCH faster internet tethered through my iPhone. Verizon 4G FTW!

You have my sympathy.
I can still hear that wonderful sound. eeeeee-rrrrrrrr-eeeeee-kkkkkkkkk-eee-rrr-eee-rrr-kkkkkkkkk......
Followed about 15 minutes later by "You got mail"
And who could ever forget that nice sound of a 5-1/4" floppy disc being read.
If our computers made that sound today, we'd think it was about to start smoking and burst into flames.
I watched Rob’s nice video on my iPhone. If I had unlimited GB, I’d just use that for everything. I’ll probably pony up the extra $$ the rest of my stay, so I can enjoy something closer to what I have at home.

Thank you. I used the 400mm f2.8 III + 2x III except for the last which was the 100mm L
Copy.
Are you using DDP or LR? I know there are some discussions on the color profiles, curious if you have tested the https://www.colorfidelity.com/ profile in LR?
R5 should ship tomorrow, trying to get my ducks in a row.

I use LR and I do use the color fidelity profiles but not all the time, they work fairly well and only $15 to give it a try. The Adobe color is not bad either. Nothing against DPP I just have only used LR over the years. Congrats on the camera, you will like it.

I should have posted these here instead on a separate thread on the Canon Forum.
I also posted them on the Landscape forum, but since they were all taken with my new R5, I post them here also.
Love Alaska so I am a little envious !
Hope to spend some extended time there (6 months -1 year) sometime - bucket list item ! Previous landscape photo
Trips have lasted only 2 weeks each, never seems enough to do justice to the beauty of the place
