Is that the punk rock species? Or maybe the skate rat species?
It's the Royal Penguins on Macquarie Island. Very similar to a number of other hairy penguin species elsewhere. I *think* I have now photographed them all.

It's hard to pick one - they're all cute in their own ways. I definitely like the hairy ones, the Royals are probably the cutest. The big ones are majestic, and the Emperors super hard to get to. Gentoos have a hint of color and represent "the prototypical penguin" I guess...

So I have had this R5 for 4 weeks and only a couple outings other than my yard. Took me forever to figure out some basic things like how to focus on small objects. I have a long long ways to go and hope as time will allow to plug in some custom settings as digging into the menu to make changes is way too hard! )
Here's one from a test today trying dual pixels ... The files are over 90MB and this shot was from about 7 feet using my allround lens the 300 2.8ii + 1.4X (This is a large crop from the original file of maybe 1/7 of the original)
