A full moon rising behind Crisp Lighthouse on the south shore of Lake Superior, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and what the locals call Yooperlites.
Last year I shot the lighthouse during the Perseids and the beach was full of people with blue lights searching for Yooperlites, which made taking images with a meteor in the sky and not a bunch of blue streaks on the beach, not so much fun.
This year I borrowed a blue light, found a pile of the rocks and then scattered them so someone else could find them.
