My name is David, and I am a Light Lens Lab distributor and the author of the official Light Lens Lab English website! I have known this website for a long time (I purchased my M10 from here with my friend via proxy), but this is the first time that I have used this officially. Please bear with me, as I am still familiarizing myself with the controls
Please don't hesitate to dm/contact me on the website if you have any questions!
Edit: Forgot to mention this, but Please send any questions regarding Light Lens Lab sales or inquiry to Tony Rose at Popflash Photo if you are located in the United States! He has a tremendous reputation with sending out items was carefully inspected (Sometimes even calls out factories' manufacturing defects) and also shares a great enthusiasm with satisfy a customer's need!
Hi David,
I just bought your 50/2 Elcan and like it very much.
Not related to the lens performance, I like to suggestion that you make the lens pouch smaller (easy to store) and use a slightly softer foam for better protect the lens
Thanks.
[EDIT] Removing this post about the lens hood causing increased focusing resistance. I was unknowingly using the lens hood as a place to rest my fingers when balancing the camera/lens, particularly when shooting in vertical orientation. Since the lens barrel and hood combo moves in and out when focusing, any pressure on the hood adds resistance to the focusing tab.

For those interested in the forthcoming LLL Speed Panchro, a youtuber posted a preview (based on a prototype) here:
The same prototype lens used in that video should arrive to me tomorrow from Popflash (thanks, Tony) Planning on being in Taos, NM in a few days, so hopefully can get a few good shots to share here.

But I kinda want this lens.
There are really a lot of lenses out there with all the kinds of "looks" we could want. But faithful and/or re-imagined reproductions of vintage cinema lenses is whole other category of GAS for a lot of people. The cinema lens crowd (cult) will be all over this.

It is interesting that in this day and age of mega resolution sensors, there is almost a backlash against that quest for ultimate 'quality' and a demand for character lenses like this.

Next thing we'll see - people using film again!
Yeah, I've had a hand over the buy button on another M-A, hopefully one that doesn't scratch film this time. Then I start thinking about the dump truck of Voigtlander lenses I could buy with the same money.
It does look nice but I'd like to see images without all his film emulation preset processing.
They are planning to release LTM and PL mount versions eventually; the PL mount one should be popular with cinematographers, at least those who shoot full frame (50mm would be a bit long for Super 35).

Hold that thought. I may sell my M-A if my M6 comes back repaired.. But it has the 75mm frame lines masked off so the 50mm view is perfect and uncluttered. In case you happen to be a 75mm shooter.

Thanks, but yeah, I have the CV 75 f/1.9 on preorder
