Looking at an Immature Tricolored Heron.
Cropped mainly from the left and right, supported hand held out car window 200-600mm G zoom lens set to 541 mm and A7rIII; silent shutter.
ISO 200, f8.0, 1/1000 second.
Exposure corrected +0.29 Stops.

Yeah, lets not derail this thread, shall we. Kinda have to quote Alex Phan, though: "Here is the request of folks that ask me last time: shot with 200-600. The lens responding much better compare to A9M2. Hit rate also improving."

That camera will work better with this lens, it is faster and it has a higher MP than what we have. Thats for sure!

Images were over the course of multiple days, times and different vole dismemberments hence the different exposures and white balance.
Yes, but from what I have seen, kestrels, white-tailed kites, etc. normally eat the tail last. In your previous image, it looked like there was a pretty big part of the vole in the claw. Hence my question. Thanks! Another great set of images, TG!
