A person I reached out to on iNaturalist.org I actually met on Saturday mentioned these 2 have been here since 2011-2012. Galen Stewart? FYI, the College Station owl is on TAMU property and the property manager isn't friendly to people coming on the property without being in class/a student. Ebird reports yesterday were "scoped from Hwy60". Thought you would want to know.

What to do on a day with a snow storm, hang out in the blind for a couple of hours and take some photos of the back-yard birds that come by . We have Sparrows (White-throated, Song and American Tree), Carolina Wren, Dark-eyed Junco and Northern Cardinal.

Some shots from this morning with the A7RIV at APS-C mode, with the 1.4 TC, and HEAVY cropping. I continue to be amazed by how much "reach" you can get from the A7RIV. This was only my second time to be able to photograph a kingfisher, very far away though.
