Just such amazing detail Ronny! I am stunned at such intricate feather detail in all the birds!!!
I am falling closer and closer to that precipice to go Sony(combo) while keeping my Canon gear. I just have too much invested and no patience to sell it and go total Sony.....YET!!

3 sandhill cranes yesterday (2 parents and a chick all grown up and ready to migrate now). Pretty heavily processed, which I usually don't do for bird images, but sometimes it's interesting to stretch. A9 + 200-600 +1.4TC

Yes he is, and very popular around here.
He's a 3 ½ year old right now, I'm hoping he lives a long life, but I don't think he'll ever be a large buck.
I hope he lives a long happy life! He is indeed a majestic buck!!!

He's a Piebald whitetail.
I should explain a little.
There is a group of us that have been going to this area (park) for 10-15 years.
A few of us, have a very good idea of the lineage of these animals parents and grandparents, etc.
We think we know who his daddy is, and we're hoping for more like him.
His winter coat has more white, near his rear end, than his summer coat.
In this area, he is very unique.
Hopefully he breeds and can have a whole herd of them.
Of course, he has to go through guys like this to breed.
