I had an unexpected treat today when I went out to photograph fall colors and ended up finding Chickadees and Cedar Waxwings. All at 600mm, ISO 1600 and 1/1250.

Here are more Waxwing photos from yesterday. I'm not a fan of the busy background with the leaves, but then again these show a sequence of this Waxwing taking and eating a berry from a Bush Honeysuckle. This seemed to be their food of choice for the day. Once again, between the 200-600 sharpness and the cropping power of the A7R4 I was able to offset the difficulty of trying to get close to these fairly shy birds.
