Regardless of the heavy cropping, the light is just right. Better than mine.
The other things both of us took the photo while the moon high in the sky. The crators will be more exposed if the moon not very high. Also easier to shoot.

Thanks. I just shot it when I could, when the clouds moved out of the way, but I was originally hoping to shoot it low and try to fit it into some sort of landscape or something. I actually combined two exposures as well, to retain some slight detail in the dark sky.
