Sig Sauer P320 XCOMPACT shot with my Z7, 50mm f/1.8G, a little $20 light wand, and some Atmosphere Aerosol. Not my gun or even my usual subject matter, but I've been feeling cooped up and wanted to shoot something. If I could do it again, I would stop down more to get the rear of the gun in better focus (harder to see that at this size).
No pics to post up yet, but received my z6 today. HUGE difference with my d700 shooting experience, and all for the better. All my gripes with the d700 (af point spread, viewfinder coverage, loud shutter, etc) have all been addressed and then some.
I could definitely have stayed with the d700 for the rest of my shooting days, but I am so happy to have upgraded. I look forward to at least a decade of shooting with the z6. Pics soon to come...
I've been working ~10 hour days from home for two weeks now and to avoid further build up of cabin fever I managed to hit some empty forest trails with the dogs today.
Practiced social distancing = at least 2 meters away from our friend + Bruce had a bath at home.
Last summer in the Dolomites with Z6 and Carl Zeiss Jena Pancolar 50mm f/1.8. (This is a stitched panorama of course.) View on flickr for full 4096px width.
