Thanks, lens was not easy to find. Got lucky on a barely used one that was missing a lens hood. Reserved it from Adorama that morning. I saw some videos from it and liked the rendering. I'm not much of a 50mm fan so figured I'd get something "unique" in that focal range. Shot it for street and used it today for a work event, this is my jam, glad I got it. Renders nicely, quite sharp too. Could've gotten the GM, decided to get this one. I have 0 regrets on that decision. akul wrote:
Congrats on your 50/1.2 Very nice rendering. It seems to do very well with street, as well as B/W conversion. Love that last shot.

Good to hear you are happy with that lens. It is definitely on my long list. I don't know when I get to it, but eventually.... one would hope.
Quite happy with it. It's basically another one of those, "can't be as bad as Fro says" purchases. If you do events, street photography or portraits it's really good for those things. akul wrote:
