p.126 #2 · Nikon Z Images Thread

Some Z7II Images

A rather convoluted way of converting the RAWs, but I opened them up in Adobe RAW and then converted them straight to 16 bit TIFF without any adjustments. I then opened the TIFFs up in Capture One Pro and did the adjustments the same way as I do for RAW. I just fnd it much easier to do the alterations in COP rather than Adobe RAW.

@Lance, is it because Capture One couldn't convert Z7ii's raw file?

Yes, Capture One cannot convert Z7II RAW files yet.

Hope they will add that soon. I also use both Lightroom and Capture One. But for Nikon files, I prefer Capture One.

Your Z7ii images look really good. Any noticeable IQ improvement over Z7?

Thank you again for the kind comment. No improvement that I can see but as I am doing convoluted processing of the RAW images, it is difficult to say. I will wait until COP does the RAW conversion.
