Forgot your tripod and want to get milky flowing falls? No problems, just handhold at 1/5sec. 
I normally have my tripod in my car but I took it out when it went in for service and forgot to put it back in! Went to these falls and was most disappointed as the conditions were perfect, just a light breeze.
Z7 + 24-70 f2.8S + 6 stop polarizer handheld, no bracing against anything, 1/5s f/8.0 at 24.0mm iso800
Z7 + 14-24 f2.8S + NiSi square polarizer, 1/80s f/8.0 at 14.0mm iso200
Z7 + 14-24 f2.8S + 6 stop NiSi square polarizer + NiSi square polarizer, 1/6s f/8.0 at 21.5mm iso200
Z7 + 14-24 f2.8S + NiSi square polarizer, 1/13s f/8.0 at 24.0mm iso64
Z7 + 14-24 f2.8S, 20s f/8.0 at 20.0mm iso64, tripod.

From yesterday's hike... Lots of deer portraits, but I liked this vignette. A few too many sticks for my taste, but the image still appeals to me due to the layering.
Shot with the Z6II in jpg mode and a bit of intentional blur in post... anxiously waiting for LR Classic update!!

I try this composition once or twice a year seeking perfect conditions. I'd like the tide to be about 2ft higher, so seems I'll have to return again. This is the first time shooting this composition with my Nikon gear.

A couple from the passing weekend. It's been 2yrs+ with the Z6 now and the only issue I had was the rubber replacement a year ago.
