Found an interesting little spider in our garden so quickly grabbed the Z7 & Voigtlander 125mm f2.5 APO Macro to get a capture. Could have used more light, but oh well, such is life.

Thanks for sharing your experience and photos with Contax G. Do you encounter edge color shift with G biogons? And how about the infinity focus? Thanks again.
Wayne
I have been using the PCX 1500 filter for corrections on the two CG Biogons and see great results in the corners with no visible color shift or distortion.
Infinity focus with the FD adapter I use is achieved easily without PCX. Once PCX is mounted though, I had to take off shims on both lenses to attain infinity. This is of course linked to the adapter I have and you might have different results.

Thank you! My favorite wide is ZM Biogon 25 f2.8 and I am not surely if I will be courageous enough to remove the shims or similar operation.
I am disppointed with the control ring feature set.
when using the primes, I just can't gel with the exposure compensation feature here. and none of the other options appeal to me.
I would MUCH rather prefer the ability to assign the ring to ISO.
why wouldn't they give us a host of options. iso, ss, aper, ec,
and then it could option up a dial in the display for options like metering, af method, etc!
am I alone here?
@Dj R The lens control ring do I have on aperture and find that for me working the best but ... I wish Nikon had an option to get the lens less sensitive, that it would take a bigger, longer course to go from maximum to minimum aperture. I guess if ISO is assigned to the function ring other problems arise such as a possible conflict if auto-ISO is chosen. For wildlife do I have my body for 90% auto-ISO and for studio is that a fixed value.
Z7 and Micro Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 - 3 shots hand held then focus stacked in PS. This guy was at the Vancouver Aquarium. Not perfect but given the conditions (not great light, getting bumped by people) I think it is ok
Testing out the TZE-01 with the Sony 85mm f/1.8. I found AF to be pretty good beyond about 2m. Inside 2m or near MFD especially it seemed to have trouble and just kind of sat there unless it was close to in focus to begin with. Didn't get to try it with running toddlers though. IQ looks okay, not as lively as Zeiss/Voigtlander!
