I continue to be really impressed by the Nikon ZF files. The 24MP files are so pleasing fresh out of camera, both the Rich Tone Portrait and Monochrome images. Lovely camera that has me really curious about a future Z8 II. Love Pig @ Lowboy, Echo Park Rising 2026. by Roman France, on Flickr

These look good. Are you shooting raw or jpeg? The Rich Tone Portrait profile in Lightroom has worked well for me on certain Z8 images, it’s gorgeous.

Man those colors look good together! Especially against the neutrals of the background. I love doing walkaround stuff like this.
Thank you. I'm ashamed to say all I did was set the Camera Standard profile and hit the auto button in LR and added a touch of sharpening. Three clicks. I will say that the 24-70 f/2.8 S is the reason the colors are so good. That lens is spectacular!
Almost all of my photography is just this type of stuff. This is the stuff I like to shoot the most. I WANT to be the kind of photographer that goes out and sets up and waits for the perfect light and composition but I just don't do that no matter how I wish I did.
The "Dots" shot below is another example of this lens really showing what it can do with color. Same type of subject no less.

Good stuff 😎 I had that 24-70/2.8S for awhile and agree it’s fantastic, I always felt it gave my files something a bit more special compared to my Z 24-120/4 (which of course is great and I do also love).
