Along Black Point Wildlife Drive, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, FL.
Between the short throw of the zoom & exposed metering dial. the lens seems to have a mind of its own as far as resetting itself when out in the field. I do miss the ergonomics of the 99II.

I've spent most of the month on a family vacation in Japan (various locations) and while bird photography was not a primary goal of the trip I've managed to make a few photos. The 600/4 is too big for the limited use it would have gotten so it stayed home; for all photos I used the a7rIII with 100-400 GM
