Made quite a detour from Tokyo to Kushiro for my first ever attempt to do some birding. Too bad I was forced to go there 2 weeks earlier than I originally planned for, otherwise I should see a little thicker snow which would be better match for the crane.

A7R4 + 100-400/4.5-5.6 GM (some might /w 1.4 TC attached)

Cropped, tripod mounted 100-400mm GM set to 206mm and A7rIII; silent shutter.
ISO 100, f5.6, 1/50 second.
Exposure corrected -0.95 Stops.
