Thank you. This is/was the 5th and final image taken in Shenadoah NP in August of 2015 (and just prepared last evening) in a relatively fast succession of shots of this Doe taken very early in the morning. I was struggling to maneuver the big tripod mounted manual focus Canon lens because the Doe was so close to me. The doe reacted to the noisy A7r shutter but was cooperative. I was quite pleased that I nailed focus on the 5 images and the lens, which I just recently sold in favor of the Sony 200-600mm G zoom, proved to be exceptionally sharp.

We are back in Colorado.
While in NYC, we went down to Coney Island to see if we could up our bird count and saw what we thought (hoped) was a Red-throated Loon, but looking at it closer now, looks like it might actually be a Common Loon.
