I honestly don't know.
I've only seen them a couple of times this late in the summer, of those times, I have not seen any feeding going on.

The local pond has a few resident Black Neck Stilts -

A7RII+Canon 400mm/f5.6+1.4X+Sigma MC11. The weight of this combination is a big plus compared to the Canon 7D. Edited using the Sony software.

I don't actually own any Sony gear yet, but all the Nikon gear is presently selling, and I will be getting an a9II with 200-600 ASAP.

Geoff (arbitrage) let me try his a9 and 200-600 last weekend, and I got a good number of keepers despite the poor light.

Went by the lake after work to shoot birds. When there are no birds, I look around for insects. The benefit of the 100-400 with semi macro abilities.
