The Z6 with the 300mm f4 pf! It is a nice combo for proximity photography, light and a joy to manually focus with the Z6.

Just picked up a refurb Z6 kit from B&H and quickly added the 50/1.8s. Spending my evenings perusing this thread and various sites for setup and recommendations. Thought I'd share one of my go to muse. Looking forward to getting outside this fall and learning the ins and outs.

Thanks a lot. It's my hometown ... Amersfoort has a lovely medieval centre, unfortunately the views are often spoiled by parked cars.

Here's another, Koppelpoort (built 1380-1425)

Love that B&W toning on the chimp. Great work.

The Z6 is very enjoyable to use...well built, good ergonomics, and files you can push around everywhere!

PS: How are you folks getting pics loaded to show up with clarity. Mine look so bad without clarity that I am hesitant to post! What is the secret to posting a good image?
Thank you!
Greg

I'm having SB500 but thinking to get smaller SB300 for traveling and carrying around.
Is Nikon SB300 good enough for Z6? (for family events and traveling.... )

I'm wondering why Nikon didn't relieve a dedicated external flash for Z line?
Thanks

Hey folks, first timer here. I actually ended up getting the Z6 last week, partially influenced by posters in this thread. Unfortunately, I am trying solve a big issue I have with this camera, and I cannot find the solution anywhere. Hopefully someone here can help.

When I am shooting in continuous high, the images play back in the viewfinder. (Either that or the camera slows the viewfinder frame rate down to a fraction of its normal fps.) Why? Image review is off. I tried turning off "view all in cont.", but that just causes 100% blackout in a burst sequence. Please tell me there is a fix for this. Is it too much to ask to simply be able see what I'm trying take photos of?

I just ordered my Nikon z6. I'm switching from the Sony a7iii. Used the Sony for 1.5 years but I didn't feel comfortable with the sony and I don't like the EVF and the display that much

A few more with the Z6 and FTZ. Also a couple with the 1.4x TC. I have to say, it is easier to get sharp shots with the Z6 and 1.4x TC then the D500. Not sure if that is because of the lack of need to AF fine tune or what. On the downside the Z6 and FTZ focuses slower, especially a near MFD. Sometimes I had to use the focus ring to get it close so it could then lock on.
