So uhm.. the last couple of gigs with my z6, I've noticed a slight "toasty" smell while the camera is pressed against my face. Not quite burning plastic or anything, but a noticeable whiff nontheless. I've also noticed a very slight shake in the EVF at times.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like that and if it's gotten worse over time. Not really a good time of the year to send the camera in for check-up...

That's an outstanding set, Henry.
What lens were you using?
#1 was 300 2.8 VR1 an 1.4TC. The last was same lens with 2.0 TC. The others were 70-200 2.8 VRII. Except for the shot of A.J. Foyt they are pretty healthy crops.

These are some of the best action shots I've seen yet, from the Z bodies. The shot of A.J. "speaks", just from his expression, and the Bourdais shot is killer! Excellent work!
I took the Z6 out with the big glass last weekend. I haven't done that much yet, with this body, but the results were pleasing. Typically, I use a D500 for this type of shooting.
These were shot with the Z6, 600mm F4E FL ED VR + 1.4x TC.
