Sort of something in between. I originally added it and didn't dump anything else. After using it for a bit, I decided to dump the Fuji XF 16/1.4 as that was my main 24 before. Now I'm considering also dumping the Sigma Art 20 as it has seen basically zero use since the GM arrived.

Sort of replacing. I decided that I like shooting primes better than zooms. I replaced my GM 24-70 with the GM 24, Batis 40 and GM 85 (yes, I know, not exact). I still have the GM 24-70 but, truth be told, it pretty much just sits on the shelf.
For those tracking where retailers are at with order fulfillment, my card was just charged for the 24mm GM I ordered at B&H back on 12/10/18. Hopefully we're getting closer.
I decided to pull the trigger with an Amazon order. Now the 2 to 3 month wait begins. I figured I better jump on the train before Sony gets funny ideas about the price being too low like fred and others have said.
I'd say if your card was charged, it's going to ship.

Thank you Fred for your work with all the reviews.
It has certainly convinced me to get another copy of the Loxia 21(first one was badly decentered) instead of the 24 GM as I find the corners at f/11 to be lacking.
I know i am to picky but they are really not that good imho.
